How the Scheme Works
As the majority of our students are from lower income households and suffer from various ailments like tuberculosis, anaemia, malnutrition, eye and ENT problems, respiratory problems, etc, we have set up a corpus of 1,000,000 for the Medical Aid Fund to financially help these students deal with their health problems. Vijaybhai Kamadar has donated 50% of the corpus amount i.e. 500,000 and the project is named in memory of his mother. The interest from the corpus is used to provide financial aid to needy students.
We also conduct annual medical check-up of 2000 students of our English and Gujarati medium schools at a cost of 40 per child. The check-up includes eye, ENT, haemoglobin, dental, nails, pallor, skin, respiratory system and PA examination.
How YOU Can Help
- Donors may contribute generally to the corpus fund any amount they wish.
- Donors may take up a specific case of a student and give partial or complete financial help to the student as per the need of the case.
- Donors may contribute for the annual medical health check-up program of underprivileged girls of the two schools at a cost of 40 per child.
Feedback to Donors
- The project donor Shri Vijaybhai Kamadar will receive an annual report of the entire project, the number of students who received help, their photos and medical history, the cost and photocopies of the bills.
- Donors who take up an individual student’s case will receive the medical history of the student, her photograph and a letter of gratitude from the student along with photocopies of the student’s health reports and bills of the various expenses incurred.
- Donors will receive a receipt for their contribution with the 80-G certificate for tax benefit.

Soniya Shakhat, her parents and five siblings subsist below the poverty line on the footpath at Vidyavihar, a suburb of Mumbai. Soniya was admitted to Class V in our school. She received special tutoring to catch up with her class and now enjoys learning.

Shweta and her 6 family members live in a single room in a slum. Her father who works as a security guard couldn't finance her education. Shweta worked as a data entry operator to pay for her studies but most of her income went to support her family. So she took an interest free loan from our Sharma Well programmer to complete her studies. She aspires to become a software engineer.
LBW Scholarship Helped Me to Complete My Graduation & Support My Family
Nehal Gada's father has expired and she lives with her mother and brother in a 10x10 room in Asalfa village, a large slum area in Mumbai. Nehal worked as a salesgirl to support her studies and completed her B.Com with help from LBW scholarship. She is now working as an accountant, earning well and helping her family.

Chitra Patel's father had a heart problem and couldn't support her education. Chitra completed her Bechelor in Engineering with SPRJK Trust's scholarships and has achieved her dream, working as a software developer in Reliance.

Reshma Shinde's father is an auto-rickshaw driver and earns meager income. Reshma took an interest-free loan from our Shama Well Programme and achieved her dream to become a nurse. She is now working at Godrej Hospital and is proud that she can contribute to her family's income.

Sahnti Patel and her six siblings live with their parents in a single room chawl. Shanti completed her B.Com with the help of LBW scholarship and went on to do her M.Com. She is now working as an accountant at Gurukrupa Enterprise and supporting her siblings.
